Semi-rigid guardrail is a continuous beam-type guardrail structure with certain rigidity and flexibility. It is a continuous structure composed of corrugated steel guardrail panels spliced with each other and supported by columns. It uses the deformation of the soil foundation, columns, and corrugated beams to absorb collision energy , And force the out of control vehicle to change direction. According to different structures, beam guardrails can be divided into W-shaped wave beam guardrails, tube beam guardrails, box beam guardrails, etc. They all have a certain degree of rigidity and resistance, absorb the conflicting energy through the deformation of the beam, and the damaged parts are simply replaced. They have a certain horizon-inducing effect and have a beautiful appearance.

3, flexible guardrail:

Flexible guardrail is a durable guardrail structure with great cushioning talent. Cable guardrail is the main representative method of flexible guardrail. It is a structure fixed on a column with several cables that exert initial tension. It mainly depends on the tensile stress of the cable to resist the collision of the vehicle and absorb the amount of collision. The cable works within the elastic range and does not need to be replaced. This kind of guardrail has a beautiful appearance, there is no sense of oppression when the vehicle is traveling, but the visual field induction effect is poor.
