PET Stickers are Widely Used in The Chemical Industry

With the continuous development of the chemical industry, more and more new chemical raw materials are produced. Nowadays, factories often indicate the types of raw materials on the labels to distinguish these chemical raw materials. However, the stickers and labels made of ordinary materials are not resistant to impact and friction, and are waterproof and corrosion resistant. They have to be updated after a period of time, which is quite troublesome. In response to this situation, people invented PET stickers to replace traditional labels.

PET is a colorless, transparent, glossy film with excellent performance, rigidity, high hardness and toughness, puncture resistance, friction resistance, high and low temperature resistance, chemical resistance, oil resistance, air tightness and good freshness. It is one of the commonly used barrier composite film substrates. The price is relatively high, and the thickness is generally 12μm. It is commonly used as the outer layer material for retort packaging and has good printability.

PET stickers have good mechanical properties, impact strength is 3 to 5 times that of other films, and good folding resistance. It is resistant to oil, fat, dilute acid, dilute alkali, and most solvents. It has excellent resistance to high and low temperatures. It can be used for a long time within a temperature range of 120°C, and can withstand high temperatures of 150°C and low temperatures of -70°C in short-term use, and has little effect on its mechanical properties at high and low temperatures. The gas and water vapor permeability is low, and it has excellent gas, water, oil and odor resistance.
